In all other respects though, she's doubtless a pillar of the community. When puzzling it out against the other residents of Donburi Island, she has a tendency to celebrate combos by stripping off. She appears in that game, and also in Twinbee RPG.though I haven't met her yet in the latter case, she does get the FMV treatment, so I assume that she's important. She's the lady I refer to in the Twinbee Taisen Puzzle Dama review as 'a green-haired mystery woman'. That's chalk in her hand, and she's a teacher.in the unlikely event that Light and Pastel actually go to school, they might well be in her class. Both, inevitably, get trounced by Twinbee.ĭespite the over-sized picture, there's not a whole lot I can say about 'Apple Sensei' - and yes, that is her real name, as far as I can tell. His red-haired friend drives a large, spider-like tank. The eyepatch wearing individual pilots a large airship propelled by umbrellas. Not much is known about this pair, but they're on Nonsense's side. When fighting, he sits inside a giant, robotic sword-wielding Knight. Peculiarly, he has a crocodile's tail, which creeps out the back of his armour.
He plays the role of bodyguard to Archduke Nonsense. The Shogun is chief of the Wonderland military which betrays its trust by mobilising against Melody. Has a fondness for saying 'Nonsense' a lot.Ī real thug. He does his fighting in a huge battle-suit modelled on Lewis Carroll's Alice. Nonetheless, he succeeds in persuading a large part of the military to support his claims to the succession. What he hasn't told everyone else is that Warumon is helping him out by providing a lot of the necessary firepower. Loud, pompous and extremely self-important, Nonsense has designs upon the throne of Wonderland, which he briefly gains through a coup. Her Kingdom has much in common with Lewis Carroll's Wonderland, being a surreal paradise filled with Cheshire Cats, playing card armies and that sort of thing. Melody, like all of her subjects (except for Ace, possibly) has rather large ears. Fortunately, she has the good sense to call on Twinbee for help, so everything gets sorted out.
Unfortunately, she gets deposed by Archduke Nonsense and his cronies, and even betrayed by her paramour, Ace. Presumably she rules with a tolerant and just hand. Princess Melody is the rightful ruler of Wonderland. He's also a playable character in Sexy Parodius, in which he gets to exercise his baser instincts. Once he realises Warumon is behind Nonsense's coup, he reverts to the side of good and prevents the evil doctor from escaping. He's not a bad guy though, and seems fairly apologetic about the whole thing. He flies a large, red ship called the 'Shooting Star', which has a charging beam laser and multi-directional firing capabilities. Ace is initially a villain in Twinbee Yahho! He helps Archduke Nonsense imprison Princess Melody and attempts to destroy Twinbee when he tries to rescue her.
